How to join
If you are interested in joining Carn Brea Swimming Club then you are invited to attend an assessment session with a member of our poolside team.
Assessments take place on Monday nights at 6:30pm, there is no need to book in advance & the assessment session is totally FREE of charge; simply come along and introduce yourself.
Each swimmer will then be allocated a swimming session appropriate to their current ability whilst still being challenging.
New members joining the club part way through a term will only need to pay a proportion of the membership fee (appropriate to the length of time remaining in that term).
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Carn Brea Swimming Club has seen membership numbers swell so significantly over the past few years that we are unfortunately in the position of having to introduce waiting lists for certain groups within the club.
With our current active membership standing at well over 200 members we now aim to ensure that we are able to give current members the individual attention they deserve & ensure that the quality of the sessions is not effected by excessive numbers.
If you are interested in joining CBSC then please don’t let this out you off, as we are still offering free assessment sessions, and places are still available within certain groups, if not then we will contact you as soon as space becomes available.

Code of conduct for swimming members
Carn Brea Swimming Club have adopted the following code of conduct for club members. New members (or their parent / guardian) are expected to read & sign the code of conduct when they join CBSC. We are always keen to hear from young members interested in joining CBSC, if you are a talented swimmer, or simply keen to improve then CBSC may be the place for you.
Any current member who introduces a new member to Carn Brea Swimming Club will receive £5 cash* from CBSC to say thank you, so why not bring a friend next week? * Subject to the new member paying appropriate membership fee in that term. There is NO LIMIT to the number of people you introduce / £5 rewards you can secure.
